UHN ranked as 3rd best hospital worldwide

TORONTO – UHN, Canada’s No. 1 hospital system, has been ranked third in the world for the second year in a row by Newsweek magazine. UHN’s Toronto General Hospital (TGH) is behind only Mayo Clinic and Cleveland Clinic, both in the United States, making it the top publicly funded hospital in the world.

Further, TGH is the only Canadian hospital in the rankings to crack the top 10, as it has for seven years in a row.

UHN’s Princess Margaret Cancer Centre has been ranked Canada’s top specialized oncology hospital and top 10 in the world.
