CHUM launches provincial DI solution

MONTREAL – In December, CHUM launched Quebec’s new province-wide medical imaging solution (PACS-VIM-VNA), marking a key milestone in its digital transformation.

As one of the first pilot sites, CHUM is establishing itself as a leading player in this major project, spearheaded by Santé Québec. The solution aims to fundamentally transform, across the province, how medical imaging is accessed, shared, and integrated into patient care.

Ultimately, clinical teams will have real-time access to imaging exams conducted anywhere in Quebec, all from a single platform. This advance breaks down silos, accelerates clinical decision-making, and enhances continuity of care for patients.
